I messed up somehow when I put the wall anchors into the wall. The pair on the left are too close together. I may try and fix it. But I'm running out of time.

I cleaned up the big double window today. To square it up I clamped my 4' level and a board then used my cutoff saw to trim everything level. For bigger areas I used the same clamping method with my skill saw. Came out pretty well.

I also used 1/2" angle to trim out the window on the driver side. It's not glued down, but it covers the edge really well.

Good day. I also got a seasonal job at the local mall. :)

Selling calendars? I need a good calendar.

But seriously, congratulations on both accounts, the window RO looks good and having a little supplemental income around the holidays is always a good thing.

Some more progress-- getting the flashing glued in for the cooler bump out:

Image

This one is the wall for the inside of the cabin. I bent the 3x3 flashing opposite of the regular way to make a tube. Waiting for the adhesive to set up.

Side shot showing the flange.

And another piece of 3x3 flashing glued and clamped to the galley side. I wanted to give that area a bit more protection.

My next door neighbor is going to wire me an electrical box much like this one, but GFCI.

Was a good day overall.

The cabin is fully enclosed.
I trimmed all the foam bits and the cooler bump out is just about complete. Using Great Stuff to fill holes and glue everything together. If I can get the windows in this week, I could camp, but won't yet. The doors still need done. Onward and upward.

Hi! Got a bit more done. I had hoped to find a c-channel type flashing to border the galley doors. I was in Menards today and they had something that fit my plans. One edge would need flattened. So I brought it home and did that just that.

Oh, and I got the second stripe painted on the sides.

Coming right along !!! 8) Best not make the galley too heavy or you may have to use those pavers to make a brick patio up front ... ( towing)

Creative packing to offset the galley, plus the AC will be permanently mounted up front.

Bonnie , I was just being silly , we knew you had the situation well under control !!! ;)
And , you’ve made a great example of how easy it is to “modify “ a foamie camper to suit your needs ... 8)
