Had the FOAMIE idea came a bit earlier - It would have been foam. I wouldn't have to mess with fiberglassing seams or coating it all in epoxy. I really think that I could have gotten another 400 lbs off the total weight - the total weight for the green lantern is 1160 loaded - and still keep WAY under 1000 lbs more like 700lbs Imagine that!

GPW,

I feel your pain! We passed 100 degrees also. At least the humidity was only about 50%. Still too hot for me. I bought a box fan this morning and to give it another try.

Take care,

ok so now that the anthony trial is over, what shall i do with my days? i suppose i could set the a/c up in the foamie and start sticking the jeans on the walls huh?

and here is an issue i have been debating. buying the floor to the new bigger foamie or buying a bike. i have been wanting a bike for many months now. i would not ask you which you would buy,, cuz i think you would lean towards the floor.

well i am going to have another cup of tea and then decide if i am going to hook up the a/c.

Buy the bike! You might run across a free floor somewhere.

yes i am going to get the bike. wasn't sure if i was getting a basket or a baby seat. i rode one on our cruise that had the baby seat and it worked great for carrying lots of things, more than a basket. plus we do have a baby here that could take a spin with me. double duty on that one.

i do have to get a bike rake of some type to carry it with me. that or see if it will fit in the tear.

hmm, maybe i will go look tonight. was going to wait til friday. but i could use some time out of the house.

looked like a storm was coming along, lots of thunder so i did not get out to the jeans. figures, no rain.

We've been so dry here. The grass is crunchy. We get the clouds and a few spits, and then it heads your way. I think most of the time, it ends up south of you.

Yay for getting the bike!! Probably easier to lay a towel on the bedding and put it chain side up inside the tear. I end up carrying my bike in the car (take the front tire off).

Are there nice riding areas where you live? I can plan to take my bicycle when I come up to visit you and do the great backyard camp.

Hugs,
Patricia
