Is it mold or algae ? I frequently see "green growths" on vinyl sided
houses around here [SC]. It's been so wet and humid here that even
part of our newer [~5 years old] pressure treated deck started to sprout
some green tinges.

Regarding the paint - I wonder if it is because it is latex paint (?) that
you start to see some mold/mildew ["SC's State Flower"] ? I also wonder
if an oil-based paint would have the same problem ? I suspect it would
be less likely. That may be the difference ?

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

A brush , using a clorox and soap mixture and rinse with water. Should take care of it.

saw your picts of the foam Stream on the general discussion thread you might want to edit it with a note to click on picture. I am still sick I have been sick since Friday before Christmas. I am so tired of this I am beginning to think it is the FLU and no I was getting my flu shot this week. I will get it as soon as I am over the flu. I just want to sleep cough and snot. I ache all over and and feel like a truck left me for dead. :( I hope I get well too. I am making some drawings and since my printer went south I will have to take pictures :pictures: of them then I will post. Just thoughts when I am sick. I still think your Foam Stream is one nice Foamie/standie I want one but I think I want to build my own trailer with some really light weight components. I'm thinking

Oh !!! almost forgot ... supposed to get in the 20’s here , another chance to test the insulation on the FS ... it’s all hooked up , so all we have to do is go inside and turn it on ... Likely will be the warmest spot around ... I may spend some in time there... only way to get warm .... Winter driveway camping .... and Sauna... :D 8) :relaxing:

Hey GPW did you go out and get so comfortable and warm and spent the night in the FS? I am thinking about putting the cats sand box in the Grits and shutting the cat up in there for Monday and Tuesday nite when the temp gets down to 7or 8 degrees. I would put my little 200 watt heater in there too, at least she would be warm. If I bring her in she uses the potty everywhere except the sand box. I shut her in the storage room in the barn and she will use the sand box. This cat is crazy. She really likes to be outside.

anytime you want a little more to do (housework) you can come to my house , maybe I can get some done this week.

Today is my day off I am going to do what I want to today, it is my birthday and I want to become Grand!!!!!! 11 more posts to go!!!

Thanks KC, Its funny several years ago I hated my age early 40's but now I am proud of every day I live, and now I have made one more year my anniversary of life!!! I love life so much more and am thankful for every day, grumpies aside I am determined to work on something today and since there are no covers for the outside water faucets I am going to make my own, and mine will be much better!!!
