The weatherperson says this week will be NICE weather :o ... One of the few times during the year when our weather is “moderate” ... The plan is ( if I can get my welder friend to cooperate) , get all the welding done ... and tow it to get stamped ... a window of opportunity ... as they don’t inspect /stamp trailers when it’s rainy ... (although the inspecting officer Never leaves the office)
Been putting this off waaay too long ... :duh:

Things didn’t quite work out as to “the Plan” ... :duh: My friend the welder (and band member) ... his brother passed away so he’s “busy” ... as one might expect ... :(
Oh , well, there’s always next week ...

I see a few pages back you asked what was the weight of a popup. I can only tell you when I title one at work I have to input the weight and I do take note of trailer weights having this project always in my mind. Point is they really very quite a bit depending on size and appliance options. There are many under 2000 lbs but I rarely see one under 1000 or 1500, but that may be because lighter ones will not have hvac so wouldn't be rvs in Kansas and therefore wouldn't need to be tagged under 2000 lbs.

BAJ, Thanks !! I had no idea popups were so HEAVY ... :o
Our state/city is so license Fee crazy (money grubbing) , in town , you even need a license for a bicycle ( I don’t have one , don’t care  )
Luckily I can purchase a lifetime (non transferrable naturally) license plate for The FS for $70.00 and then be done with it .. But then licensed vehicles are subject to Property Tax... yearly .... Grrrrrr!!!! :frightened: They get ya’ , one way or the other ... $>

That's the truth. It's what I learned from living in a no income tax state... property tax is brutal!!!

reminds me of the news story I heard about thousands of people living in caves in another country, since they just live there, but didn't build anything or own anything, they can't be taxed. Or the story about the homeless in some city who had found a way to dig out a big tunnel where many were living. Time to move into the foamstream and be homeless

...only when the poor get richer,
John F Kennedy's "rising tide lifts all boats" has been proven more than once, right now the tide is sinking fast, all the gains made since carter have been lost, and we still have a few more years to look forward too :frightened: until we can HOPE the tide turns. (the "tide' being referred to is the labor force participation rate, only when more people get employment does anything improve for the lower %40 (the non tax payers according to the Government accounting office))
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labor_force notice as women gained, men lost, but since 2010 we are all the losers...
and remember the trust fund clowns in DC are the ones causing all of this, and they don't have to work... :x

And they don't have to live with their own laws like they are suppose to by the Constitution.

The "rising tide raises all boats" was changed by Reagan to "The rising tide raises all yachts"

We better stop here, there are other forums for this.
