Bonnie , it really wasn’t intended to be pretty , just making darn sure the window is sealed ...The window is stout , made of 1/2" plexiglass... very secure (security) ... didn’t want ANY leaks (however small) spoiling that ... ;)
This morning , we’re going to pull it out the Studio and give it a little “wash” (clean off the sanding dust, we do want a CLEAN surface to start priming on ) ... Pretty day in store for us .... Great weather (fortunately ) for doing this ... :D

I think the rain is finally moving out of our area. Good thing too. The back yard is making hay! Looking forward to a productive weekend, myself. :)

Well now, a little Cleaning goes a long way ... :o   Cleaned up much better than I expected ... just a couple little rust spots on the frame to attend to ... mostly on the brackets ... Once it gets a chance to dry out , we’ll pull it back inside and prime those spots with some Rustoleum primer , then a coat of red Rusto’ enamel over that ... That oughta' do it !!! . Tape off the frame with masking tape and newspaper and we’re ready to paint the cabin ... :dancing

T, belt sander and Big sanding block made by gluing flattened sanding belt to board ... It was messy !! :o TLAR method!!! ;) ~ 2” R

Oh , and found out (the hard way) Never drop the Gripper on a weathered HF fender ... Even if you wipe it off right away , it still stains the black fender .. :o I’ll have to paint those for sure ... :duh:

Now that it matches the house maybe you can hide it in plain sight!
