Ok So here is the big pile of bags I cut tonight for my floor. and here is all the bags cut into strips. Sorry it's so dark. It was late when I finished. I forgot that my mom had give me HD gc for mother's day. (Thanks MOM!) So I went and got a bottle of TB II to hopefully start putting down the floor tomorrow.

a bag floor will be pretty cool! i did a paper floor using scrapbookers paper and poly. but since it did not fit (i can't cut anything correctly), but since it did not fit, i have just left it out in the rain, and heat and cold, whatever the weather has given to it, and believe it or not, it still looks pretty darn good! so this process works really well.

A whole “bag” interior could be done and made to look like Leather ... Cool and Thrifty ...

Torn paper edges are more interesting and forgiving than cut edges ... just some Artistic FYI..

Yes. That's why I asked. The leather look of paper would be very pretty. Layers of glue and paper could certainly cover any imperfections, just sayin'

Bonnie , you may want to try a sample on the glass to see what works best ... Paint may be the best adhesive , since it seems to stick to fiberglass just fine ... still easy , and when you’re done , you’re done ...

Hmmm? Fiberglass inside and out ... no wonder that top is Heavy ..

Great Stuff (not so great to get off your hands and clothes!) In the wheel wells and in the gaps where water could come up. Also did underside of these areas and the sides. Overkill Yeah but that's ok

So here is the start of the bag floor. And here is the front part done. Waiting for it to dry. I used 50 TB II/ 50 water mix to do the floor. The wrinkles will flatten out as it dries.

Floor is all glued down. and I have put a sheet of spare vinyl down in the back where the slide out galley will go. No one will ever see this and it was just easier than bagging it. I wanted to make sure that IF water or moisture got in there, it wouldn't get to the plywood underneath.

That's pretty cool.

I remember doing similar things back in grade school. We used to use masking tape, though. Stain it with brown shoe polish to give it that aged leather look.

I could see doing something like that as cabinet door inserts.
