A newbie and a standie

Nice work!! That was fast. I used 3 and a half gallons of TB2 on mine, and I think I should have used more.
It will be great to see the details come together from here!

If we can remember correctly , we used almost 7 gallons of glue (TB2) on the FoamStream ... and that was thinning it out a little with water for the covering ... The glue is one of the essential Foamie’ elements , so whatever it takes to get the job done is Good ...

I'm headed back over for a few hours Wednesday afternoon. More pictures will follow.
I've noticed a few things. First just putting 8 inch canvas steps over the exterior joints made everything so much sturdier! Second after canvassing the roof and most of the walls, we could roll the thing upside down to canvas the bottom. The only reason it took two was it's just too awkward for one person. Each step makes me more confident in this whole foamie thing - only worry now is that it will blow away

So good , worth saying twice !!! Na!! it won’t blow away ... or at least none of anybody’s here have ... yet ...

Funny , I rolled mine to put the black nasty stuff on the bottom ... seemed the easiest thing to do ...

Tonight I primed the bottom and canvassed the ceiling (inside) while it was upside down. She won't be the prettiest foamie in town, but functional skills be achieved.

On a side note, apparently I've become 'the builder' and tonight had a little side project. Made some beersbie poles. Which brings me to a serous question - is beer consumed while making a foamie typically included in the construction cost?

In regard to the Beer question .... NO !!! The Beer is only “rented” for the event duration ....

Hey now ... It’s looking GOOD !!! Nice and roomy ...

Hint: if you process your pictures in your photo program (Edit /Adjust) , you can drop out a lot of the shadows that make everything so dark ... and , you can post your pics in your very own album here...

Little more work last night. Primed the outside just before the rain hit. And embedded some hard points in the floor to mount to my trailer. You can see my high class clamps Also started forming some of the interior structures.

On a side note, has anyone tried to use a flexible joint compound to get a smoother finish?

Interesting that you built it inside the trailer railings- I thought of doing that but decided it would be too narrow- is it hard to work around them?

It's currently not fastened down so I just pick it up and move it when need be. Additionally, it's currently sitting on a friend's trailer that's a foot wider and two feet longer than mine. So I've got all kinds of working room

I don't think I could work around the rails but since it weighs on under 100lbs at the moment (by quite a lot I suspect) it's not hard to pick up and flip over when needed.

Well minor setback. Apparently I hadn't sealed the canvas under the floor at the door. Rain got in and ruined about a third of the TBII bond. Frustrating but I just cut out the loose canvas and patched it. Did I do the right thing?
