Thinking about heat application related to this build, I had the thought of maybe doing "post-installation" heat. Perhaps the heat would aid curing of the glues and may relieve some of the internal bending stresses in the foam. I'm not suggesting heat high enough to melt the foam but raising the temperature 80-100 degrees using perhaps one of the small temperature controlled electric ceramic heaters.

Now back to this great build!

Re achieving the foam bend with heat.

I think rigging it up exactly as you did, fully preparing to glue, and then placing a space heater inside set as high as the unit allows (probably around 100f), and then use a heat gun on low on the outside in passes, might get it to relax into its new shape.

Would definitely be an art to it.

Considering this unfortunate circumstance I think the trailer faired quite well and should be repairable.

He said he he had thought he had missed the deer, but then looked in the rear view mirror. He saw a antler flying off and the deer spinning down the road from the impact. To top things off, he also lost the keys to it somewhere between here and there too.

I told him to wait a week or so and see what the foam does. He could not check the interior for damage since he lost the keys. I think, going by the pictures, it should recover pretty good. Some TB II with a syringe to re-glue the canvas down, a little caulk to fill in the tears and a coat of paint should get it looking good again or at least get it usable.

In Australia its the KANGAROOS Jumping all over you LOL can shaw do some damage if you get a big buck full grown.

Looks fantastic George!!
Is that a soft sage green plus white top and ends?

I see a BMK (Bicycle Motor Kit) on a bike outside of the workshop...is that yours?

#5 is started and oddly, since you mentioned electric bike, it is for a electric bicycle. Hope to get some info up here soon. George.
