 they are not all mine! i did say no, that is why only 2 are mine. 2 are his, and 4 are my gkids. but they all live here and there is only room enough here for one head biotch. so its my way or the highway and his decided to take to the highway. they moved in this summer, there was a struggle for position here. well i am still here and they are not. i am not sure if i come off as the meek and mild grandma type, but i was born, bred and raised from the streets of jersey. 8) i do not like to be messed with in MY home. i worked very hard for what i do have, and i'll be darned if i will let some snot nosed kid take anything from me, regardless of whose it is.

sorry, tmi, i must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today.

gpw, you don't have to cross "the" bridge to get here you know. you do however, have to cross the long bridge/tunnel one. i've crossed that one several times towing the foamie. doesn't bother me at all.

Actually I was speaking metaphorically about NOT visiting because of all the Young ones (not crossing that bridge :R ) ... I (we) never had any kids ... never missed them , and have remained generally very Healthy ... and financially better off not having to provide all the amenities the kiddies Expect today ... That’s why I’m still the Big Kid !!

And I’m still the Man of the house ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7Y0I91rubg

we too never had any kids so I don't know what that entails
I do know what my brother is going through with his kids grandkids and great grand kids.
some troubles are their own making some due to the times we live in
lost jobs means mortgages fall behind houses are lost just happened last week to niece and her husband.
I see my grandniece and her 4 kids struggle everyday I have given her a car and money when I can as has her grandfather my brother.
she is a smart person looking for work but like my wifes nephew she has been told
"we would hire you but you don't have a job" sad but true if you are out of work some firms won't hire you how stupid is that.

Hard to gage the level of stupidity of that. And if you are in your 60s just as well go set on a park bench until you die.

Actual I think employers like to hire people that are willing to jump jobs. It shows a lack of ethics that business likes. And they think they can steer that moral code into taking advantage of customers.

Yeah, I am a bit jaded. Only once have I jumped jobs and that was for another job that in 2 years I was making about 3 times what I did before. And I still occasionally work for the guy I left. And we are still friends. I first worked for him 20 some years ago.

Cricky i am making me feel even older
