Well, I got the furnace all plumbed in and wired in, and it's working. Let's see how long it takes to warm the garage up!!!

Mike...

P.S. Next step, Harbor Freight to get some tiny wheels!

I'm back from Harbor Freight. Got my wheels. But while we were there we found out that they don't have any trailers in stock. There was some kind of a defect, and they ALL had to be shipped back to China. All of them. Every model they carried. Geesh!

They probably had no choice. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration probably made them do it... But I don't know for sure. The guy at HF didn't know anything.

Those tiny wheels sure look funny!

But I was able to get the foamie in the garage, with about 1/16" to spare.

BTW, the temp in the garage is about 60°, plenty warm to make sawdust!!!

OH BTW,

I picked up a random orbital palm sander (the square one, not the round one), and some 60 grit sand paper, and that's what I am going to try on the edges tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes...

Mike...

P.S. The sander was a whopping $13 something.

36 is quicker for roughing out the foam ... ;) Electric Turkey carving knife quickly takes away the heavy ... carefully ...

Ingenious how you installed that furnace in the garage !! 8)

It's a little undersized for the garage, but perfectly sized for the trailer. But I can always plug in my ceramic heater for a little boost!

I'm going to turn it on in about 30 minutes, and plan on going out there about 6 am to start playing!

Better a little Heat than none at all !! I’m in the studio/garage right now sitting 2 feet away from my little milk house heater ... 60F and still COLD ... for me ... :o

Mike, looks like the garage isn’t insulated ... that would make a BIG difference ... looks easy since you have exposed studs...
