summers are never long enough, but yes it does appear we will have the heat. we've been over to the beach a couple times already. that water is freezing!

i have to go out in a little bit and water the garden. and i think i will have the boys go out back to feed the ponies. too hot for me now. its in the 90's., i think low 90's but still.

With Mike having great success cutting the canvas/foam , we planned on cutting out the window today and sticking it in .... but now it's supposed to rain .... The rain is most welcome, but always seems to occur at inconvenient times ...

I'd love me some rain right about now. The high yesterday was only supposed to be 95, the thermometer at the bank said 100 when I ventured out to go grocery shopping. "Weather guessers" are predicting a high of 98 today and I have to go to work this afternoon. I'd rather schlepp luggage in the rain than 100 heat.

:relaxing: :picklejuice: OR :rainy:

People on CL here are crazy!!! I've been looking for a trailer to start my foamie (can't finalize my design until I have a base to build on). The thrifty in me wants a bargain; but all I'm finding are over-priced garbage. How can people ask $500 for a HF that they slapped a sheet of cheap sheathing plywood on?? Really expensive bolts???

In the meantime, I keep playing with Sketchup and trying new designs. I have three pairs of different style windows in the spare parts room (guest bedroom). Is it weird to design around the parts you all ready have??

you know i don't think it is crazy to work around what you have. i actually think that is pretty cool. i can only hope that i can come up with "thrifty" finds now. i just don't have the knack for those finds. but since i have time on this second build i at least can keep my ears and eyes open, just in case.

hubby told me about a trailer up the road was for sale. so i went down there to check it out. they wanted 450 bucks for it. it was a boat trailer, but i think they were crazy for that price tag. it has so much rust and seriously the rust had eaten right thru the metal. so much work would have been required on this trailer.

but i will keep checking things out and just hope for items to come my way.
