Holy cow, Geep! You built those bikes? You have mad fab skills and a nice eye for design (not to mention your canvas and paint art, and musical skills). I'm impressed.

Just some Cheap Fun !!! As AZ recommended we cruised the neighborhood after Christmas day , and found all kinds of still nice bikes in the trash piles ... Chopped them up for parts , re-assembled in the new configurations (cut and fit) ... all with a grinder and files (hand tools ) ... a mill would have been nice for the coping ... but it was Fun ... Ended up giving them to friends and their kids ... Still have the bent' and my everyday bike ... a 1948 Tulane ...
Now have moved on to Trailers .. same procedure ... scout for old boat trailers (a gazillion of them around here , many with out boats after Katrina ) ... Down to 5 trailers now ... trying to taper off the addiction ....

There’s much to be said for Simple ... Building the new trailer (FoamStream) with all it’s complexities...really makes me appreciate the idea of a Simple Strong Box !

Re-studying the drawing ^ , it becomes obvious that much the character of the Trailer is determined by the Nose , The rest of it’s just a Box eh ? We’ve got that part down ! So maybe we should discuss ... Simple Foamie’ Noses !!! :o Build the Simple Box ... make a Simple nose for it that adds a bit of aesthetics .. 8)
One could Even have detachable spare noses for different purpose, not that I can think of any at the moment other than to change the “look" or function ...

So naturally I made up another drawing to use as a “drawing" page to explore possible Nose jobs ... if you’re thinking about a Simple Foamie , here’s a Fun page to doodle on . Print one out , grab a pencil , be creative :D Rainy day Fun !

Simple noses for a simple foamie. (Color me uncreative.)

Just to add, my point wasn't for looks really but more aerodynamics while maximizing space.

K’ ... Nice  ... aerodynamics, a very valid consideration ... Otherwise it wouldn’t need a nose at all eh ... :o

So you're going for the Jimmy Durante of Foamies ? Eh ?

Look at the ROAM Camper TD build by titanpat57:

That'd be a great "nose" to emulate - it's just a few flat
panels joined creatively.

Cheers,

You can always give it a nose job. Put the front under a knife, to resculpt it as one's whims change.

Since foam is a homogenous material , it’s so easy to ADD or Subtract foam to make most Anything , and any shape you want ... any Time you want ... So it comes down to a Box , a Nose , sitting on a trailer .. Pretty Simple ... many possibilities ...

How about This NOSE !!!!     79870
