Plus I had to buy myself a seafood platter next door at a nice little restaurant out in Bucktown (the fishing village ) ... had to eat something , eh ... was there ALL day and half the next ... 
Good thing my mechanic is also my Good friend too ... Could have been worse... I would have had to do it ... with hand tools (old school) ... 
And speaking of Thrifty again ... not to disrupt the flow here or anything
.... last night the "paddle boarders" showed me the tape I told them to get .... Fiberglass Drywall tape .... something like 3” wide and 300’ long , for like 12 bucks at the local hdwe. (their nickel ) ... Looks like Great stuff for further reinforcing certain higher stress areas or seams .... and several layers should be extremely Tough ... We’ll be testing it out on their paddle-board builds ... Stay Tuned !!! Next trailer will have extra skin reinforcement about waist to eye level .... everybody wants to push on it with their fingers.... Last night , the “girl” (singer in the band) walks up to the trailer , sticks her thumb on it and says “you know I can make a dent in this with my thumb ! “ .... Well DUH !!! She ’s a 6’2” amazon woman ... and she’s a “blonde “ ...
I had to yell at her “don’t go making dents in my Foamie trailer ! “ ... What an Idiot !!! But she sure can sing .... Best reinforce everything against the curious , and the Dumb ....
