/thanks Becky. I couldn't just stay home again today with everything going wrong. I got out I went to a friends and we went toHD and got stuff for a new mailbox. Hers got hit by car. New 4x4 so I will cut it tomorrow and take it back to her house and dig a hole I will attach the mailbox and she can get mail at home again. gives me something to get my mind off things and she said that I could use her saw. It is older than mine but it will work. :) To bed with this very tired body!!!

There are times when it just better to walk away for a few moments, regather your thoughts, perspective and determination and return to the project with a better attitude, more determination and a fresh brain to think with. Been there... Lived it. Unfortunately these moments seem to occur at the least opportune moments. Hang in there!!!

...Walk away for a few moments?! Heck, I walked away for a few hours, days, sometimes a week!

got some done on my TD today:

107845

I laid the opening on the door foam then marked the opening then laid the wood on the inside of the mark and remarked on the inside of the original mark . I cut out the door with the jig saw and it worked great. I then cut the wood for the outside of the door and glued and screwed it and now has weights on it. while the glue dries.

There is an old saying about working smarter not harder and you did that. When I did my doors, I made the door after I set the wall to the frame. What a pain in the neck it was to try and make that door fit just right... It still rubs when I close it but I'm living with it for now

I am doing a little at a time.

A quote from the inchworm:

"Inch by inch, anything's a cinch!"

It looks like you're doing a good job and being thoughtful and careful, Mary.

Thanks k, The whole time I was cutting the ribs I kept thinking about GPW's friend Vinnie and oh Why didn't he live closer. it was tough sawing because of my right wrist. It seems that it has become quite painful and is swelling just a little. I think all this excercise is keeping it painful maybe after I finish and get some R&R in the pain should go away........I hope so. Anyway back to the foamie...............
