Thanks everyone, this is a very trying time. I had to change my bank account, then I had to change my direct deposits, and my check with drawals a new back door and new locks, thatts 300 dollars I could have spent on my TD or gas for trips. My son is giving me his old truck it has a hitch so all that's great but the gas is twice as much as I am used too. I may have to get a job! Thank you for your prayers, and wishes and support.

Oh Mary,

What a hard time and what a terrible thing to come home to. Praying for you. And may the hounds of heaven hunt down those stupid and harmful folk and give them the a little learning.

I hope that things get better quickly.

Crime is such a terrible thing for all of us ...our town is always competing for the Murder capital of the World , not to mention the robberies, drive by’s, and home intrusions , etc. , etc. :frightened: ... And it all seems to be done by certain groups that cannot be singled out because of their “rights” ... But what about our rights ??? The Police are already overwhelmed and restricted as to what they can do , and are NO help at all in recovering your stolen goods... There is really no one to turn to except the Insurance company , who immediately devalues your claims... And now you can’t even defend your property , lest you violate the criminals rights and get incarcerated yourself. ... :o Something is very WRONG with this system ... If you’re a victim of Crime , you’re pretty much Out of Luck ...
One wonders how long people will tolerate this before doing something about it ... :NC

Thanks for the good words, I thought Id write what they took, besides the guns and computer they took all my jewelry, if you don't know me very well I wore a lot of big necklaces during the winter, they got my hippy jewelry and all the necklaces that my daughter gave me and the silver western heart pin and matching necklaces. my mother's pearls, my mother in laws cut glass necklace and earrings. They took my Scottish kilt pins, one from Scottland. I have learned something through this. I know how Christ blew his top at the merchants and tax collectors in the temple. The idiots took my bible. I have others but they took the one my friend gave me. it was the principle, Gods house they held no reverence for another's property. I keep praying that my anger will subside but it comes in waves. Like today while cutting grass I found the crowbar they used to open the safe. :x They took things they could sell, probably for drugs. I know I will never see the things again. but I have found that I have a lot of very kind friends. My son and daughter in law came and got my bed back together and helped straighten my bedroom and kitchen Mary who I call my bff and sister put the things back in the closet. and straightened the coat closet and living room. A sweet friend is sending me a computer., and another is trying to find me a door. People who care and love me have sent wishes and condolences, Indeed I lost some things but not my friends, they are precious and are my best jewels. They didn't take any of my TD stuff so it looks like I will get busy and finish my little "Grits". and look forward to camping with some wonderful friends. Thanks for letting me write it helps.
