I wouldn’t apologize for being a thinking individual ... rather than one who blindly follows tradition ...

Visions of circus music playing and a clown car pulling into view (Mini Cooper), clowns start climbing out... and they keep climbing out... a Great Dane climbs out... and more clowns. Seems like the flow of clowns will never end.

I'm the one with the big red nose and floppy shoes. :D

(Above vision is something I saw at a county fair as a child many years ago.)

What GPW you want to close this thread? So sorry I have been gone for so long. I am trying to catch up now. Have I read correctly that Big Mike is building another foamie? Ok, must get back to trying to get up to speed on the threads.

Oh yes, still doing the horse thing. It paid off last year, both kids took home Grand Champion trophy and ribbons (for end of year high point winners). So proud of them. Only one child this year doing the horse thing, and I have even backed off some with her. But she is working now towards State competions in Oct.

Have not camped at all this year. However, I am going to be camping down in Disney World in 17 days. Not taking the foamie. Will be using the Tailveil (with the a/c of course).

Still catching up on threads. :wine:

Wolf, it may be prudent to “Test” this on a sample first ... We’ll give it the flip flop test .... if it can fix them , it will work for us ...

I can't find it on their web sight.

Something like that in a "foam" type of carrier would be nice for us. Probably coast about a million smackers to get made. LOL

I have been debating on taking The Foamie to Disney. I have a couple of things to do to it before I make a final decision. I was originally thinking of just using the Tailveil for my hatch on the car, but the more I think about it, I can still use that, just attach it to the hatch on the foamie. If it would stop raining and get dry here for a couple of days, I could get out and get to work. :wine:

All that talk about building a Foamie with a circular saw ^ , kinda’ got me started thinking about a Foamie repair kit ... a compact lightweight collection of tools and supplies to repair minor damage whilst on the road ... Serious Camping must not be interrupted for a tear in the tent .... or whatever...

Any thoughts on what YOU would think we should always carry along for repairs .. ? I’m thinking of something that could all fit in a shoebox < 5# ... It’s size or weight cannot interfere with the access or transport of the recreational gear ...
