Good thing after Zeta ( Nasty Zeta), we inspected the FoamStream, and found it all OK just leaves pressed against the outside , just a good washing should fix all … Sitting out in the same hurricane winds that snapped trees all around, the FS never even bobbled … the wind just blew Around it …. So much for worrying aerodynamics …

Note , square trailers blew over , or “away” … :o

I’ve got to say , last time we had weather not even this bad , a small limb put ten holes in my Jayco ( one completely through the roof  ). Plus a hole in the fiberglass side … A $5000.00 repair from the Jayco Dealer (crooks!) … and badly repaired to boot …, :x

Foamstream … Nothing !!!! I saw limbs bouncing off the trailer , no problem … I kept looking out of the window checking if it had blown over ( very strong winds ~ 105 mph … ) No problems … ;) but now we did use 18 oz. canvas to cover it , and in some places 3 layers thick … Almost 7 years living outside … Still ready to go ( after a good wash). 8) That’s my test … This might be the year we give it a new paint job … something different . And I finally figured how to install that big window G-goose sent me … .. A “Foamie with a view “ … :SG Good weather (cooler anyway) and the need to stay at home makes this a “build year" …

And we’d now like to build something a little smaller , sleeker, LOWER … not so much a horse trailer ( hahahaha) :R After all these years , we Know it works , is still Thrifty, and simple enough to make at home … and I still have that old Dilly waiting for a cabin . ;)

Well, it’s full on Hurricane season ! Supposed to be an above average year … … again !!! :frightened: FoamStream is ready for it’s primary purpose …. evacuation … should it be needed .
Other prep… we’re having several trees close to the house cut down to avoid any more damage to my roof … from falling trees … In 22 years here , the only damage to my house has been caused by those trees … Bye Bye !!!
