I just posted a question up in the "trailer" section,

http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=45616

Since my intent is to build a foamie,,,,
I thought I'd ask you guys what input you might have.
Thanks,
Les

If it's the right size , it's easily fixable to accommodate a Foamie .. That IS a Nice size !!!

OK I'll be the blunt jerk.

If you want to build light why do you have such a heavy duty trailer? It is a nice trailer crying out for something more "intense" built on it.

Please do not take offense. None meant.

Your going to have to work harder to offend me.
I got the trailer because it was the size I wanted,,,,
At a price I could afford, $200
The other thing about a heavier trailer,, instead of building a sub floor to carry the load, I can bolt a piece of plywood directly to the frame.
At least that's the plan for right now, :D
Thanks,
Les

I forgot to add,,,,
I'm all about thrifty,,,,
My wife "doesn't" camp,
So she really doesn't see the need for a camper.

So the less money I spend on this project,
The better off I am.

Les, sounds all Good to me !!! Big, Thrifty, Easy ... doesn't get much better than that ... !!! besides , the heavier trailer will keep the weight low , which as we know is a good thing in high winds ... and going over bridges ..

Ps. My wife is also not a fan of camping anymore ... would rather go shopping , and if we do camp , she goes shopping anyway ...
