I have read and reread almost every post on this forum.
even though I built most of a fiberglass and foam airplane; I would like to see a foamy.
I am having a hard time getting it my feeble mind to accept the concept of using glue-foam-and house paint to build a camper.
Where is the closes get together to southern Ohio one that someone is bringing their foamy?
I may have to visit the local home depot or Lowes and their trash bin to get a piece of foam buy some TBII and have a go at it making a test piece.

has anyone considered putting together a step by step guide a how to do and what to use kind of book? Hint Mike........GPW anyone?

Pete , here you see a tiny sampling of the origins of Foamie trailer ideas ... If it works for planes (even little ones ) it will work for trailers ... and they don’t have to fly ... :o Image

Problem with writing instructions is that given a pile of plywood and a box of nails , everyone will build what they think is the right way ... Same with foam ... The foam is just the medium for expression , and since this appears to be uncharted territory , the idea was to present just the method and see what develops among the enlightened individuals building them ...

That way , no one gets all the blame .. :o

Pete , come on down , I’ll give you the Foamie tour... should take about 10 minutes ... I’ll have the coffee on ...

I've been to your town couple of times last was before the huricane hit.
we camped out at St Bernards sp. I have been told it is now gone don't know if this is true.
I'm to old to Laissez les Bon Temps Roulez but I can eat crawfish.
we use to cook them back when we were kids caught a lot of softcraws and boiled them in water not as plentyful in Ohio as down south.
I'll keep watching I may have to go thru NOLA on my way to florida next jan-feb.
thanks for the invitation my drive is open to all for an overnighter pm first.

Pete,

If you ever find yourself in the northern part of Ohio, consider going a little bit further and checking out our foamie!
