Hey All,

Not been on here much lately. Busy with family life and trying to learn guitar and messin with a banjo I picked up. Loving watching my Grandson grow up, about 8 months now!

Here's hoping that all of you have a safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or, Happy Holidays! Happy New Year as well! Wishing you all good health and happiness in the new year.

Pat I have several guitars
years ago I dislocated both thumbs not at the same time one at work and the other using a snow plow on a garden tractor
anyway my left thumb now hurts constantly so much so that I can only play about an hour.
a friend gave me a dulcimer first he loaned me his mother's then he gave me one he had restored.
I started taking lessons and the way you need to hold your hand doing some chords cause the old thumb to say don't do that,
so now I am going to try what they call a noter basically a stick you press on the melody strings.
