I'm guessing that is a 110v unit? what amp breaker is required to run it?

Yes it only requires 1200 watts for startup so it would run on a 10 amp circuit just fine but according to ul specs all ac units are to be on their own 15amp circuits and yes they are 110v.

This a more powerful version of the Pet Cool and the heat is resistance heat not a heat pump where the compressor reverses. VERY expensive, about three times what I spent total.

Well another advantage is you just put ports in multiple things and use the one unit in a shed, shop, room, and camping.....can multipurpose and the hose thing is way easier than mounting window units. If you look in the last build of my microcampers you see the window unit builtin and just building that shelf where it leaned to a drain waterproofing and then closing in took 4 days of work and this unit takes cutting 2 holes so the time saved building is worth the higher price trust me. That was the 2nd unit I built in and buddy it just blows chunks the amount of work it entails.

I can say first hand that yes there are some advantages to being able to add ports in other locations, but there is an efficiency cost unless you insulate the hoses and make sure there is sufficient air flow. I tried that with our pet cool using closed cell neoprene pipe insulation but it did not make up for the lack of coolth from the original PC.

Yeah that's why unless it's a very small area no way I'd recommend to get the 2500 as that's half of the smallest window unit and just way undercooling.

Yeah why I'd never ever recommend the 2500 to anyone unless they were going to cool and heat a shoebox just way too small. Smallest window unit is 5k btu and it would cool my cabin real well but throwing the door open to the tent put a strain on it for sure.
