I'm interested in building a foamy, but the big box stores don't sell the thicker(2 in) sheets of foam. Where did y'all find foam?

Rob ...
http://www.taylor-seidenbach.com/ Right off Tulane near Carrolton , next to the Fountain Bay hotel ... Better prices than the box stores ...

Tell the nice lady behind the desk what you’re making ... this not the first time they’ve heard this story ...

I was thinking fiberglass for its strength, but that stuff doesn't come cheap. I want to build a 4' tall, by 4' wide, by 12' long basic box. Will the canvas/glue combo really harden? I'm thinking the 12 oz drop cloth. With glue and canvas, is 2 inch foam strong enough by itself or does it call for other reinforcements?

Give it a little bit of shape, some arch in the roof, and it will increase the strength a lot. Doesn't need to be much; TPCE has a 520 inch radius in the roof.

Westbank of St Charles Parish here. Would it be a possibility to come see them? If ya wouldn't mind, I'd have a few questions about my design.0

Well, I work in Bridge City. I'm usually off at 3:30 during the week. When would be good for you?
