Hi. Anyone here from MN/Wisc, that has built a Foamie? If so, I would love to view your rig. I am considering my first build and it will be a Foamie. If you live within (say 60 miles) of the Mpls/St Paul area, I'd love to meet up to see your rig.
I'll bring the coffee and pastries, eh?
Thanks for your time and consideration, Keith.

I'm in Madison, and will be starting my foamie build in the spring. Kinda hard to get glue to set in this weather, and I don't have a heated workspace.

Always read the can to discover the operating temperature range of your paints and glues ... and do protect your PVA glue from freezing ... :o

Like I have said before, The challenge on this build was to not use any wood. Not even in the floor

You seem to have built exactly what I am thinking of! Do you have a build thread? And how did you make a woodless floor?

Thanks in advance -

I don't have a build thread. (Did not know if it would work) the floor is 2" foàm with canvas on the bottom and frp gluevd on the top. Bolted down with large head elevator bolts.

I'm in the twin cities, I have a foamie that's nearly done. (Dang lights) and I mostly gave up because the garage floor got cold and I need to re-arrange for winter parking. If you'd like to see it let me know.
