Great trip and great memories for you and kids. It is remarkable that a 4-cylinder car tows this size of a trailer. All the best! :applause:

Our next blog post of the day we went to Port Hood in Anchorage Alaska. Its the largest seaplane base in the world, we learned more about the Japanese invasion of Alaska and saw lots of really cool aviation stuff in their museum like the first flight over the norh pole was in an airship from Rome, wreckage from the first round the world flight, first engine pratt and whitney built, 2200hp radial engine... http://prinsfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2018/08/port-hood-and-aviation-museum-in.html?m=1

There was actually a 60hp air cooled airplane motor that i took photos of and was wondering if you could fit it in. The 2200hp one would be hard to fit and would require a big gas tank eh? :)

Next blog post of another day in anchorage. We visited with Nicholas Andrew and checked out beluga point. It was a quieter day and this one is a shorter post but the next day is too long of a post to join this with it.

Nodrog wrote:Hey famous Canadian travelers/explorers!! Wow....you are having an amazing time, eh? I've been waiting for one of those, the classic "eh" to appear, I guess you are really Canadian!! But seriously, or maybe not seriously, folks need to read the real blog, there are some real nuggets of prose in there, I believe written by the better half? " It started raining so we let the sound of that, the freeway, the drunks and the other campground noises lull us to sleep. " Last sentence of text on blog post...hahahaha - I read that to my better half, we are so cynical or maybe it's just nasty it's hard to get a real laugh out of us, maybe a chuckle or two, but that did it!! :applause:
I pull out all the stops, double emojis for you all today!!! Thanks....Nodrog

Haha, thanks. Glad your reading it and i hope others are too. Youll like the next one! Had to weed 300+ photos down to a few for the blog, we saw so much amazing stuff. But yes, that was by far the worst campground we stayed at and i think we kept the discription PG, lol.

Next blog post and its a big one! We visited a town that was started by the USA's government trying to colonize Alaska during the depression, saw a statue of a 130 pound cabbage, went to an incredible museum with trains, tractors, cars and snowmobiles the kids could play on and we saw the town of Talkeetna that had a cat for a mayor for 16yrs iirc. I can only post 9 photos in a batch here and they dont even come close to representing all of what we saw that day :)

Next blog post is up! In this one Julie goes swimming with hundreds of salmon in ice cold water, we drive by the tallest mountain in north america and visit an igloo hotel. There is also a video of a moose family with 2 babies playing around in some water. The alaskan scenery here was really cool so there are a few photos and a video of that http://prinsfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2018/08/sunday.html?m=1
