I shall welcome myself to the forum with an announcement of my plan for my trailer. I am planning on a Wanderer 10 in 2" foam on a HF trailer. I will skin with PMF (as per norm).




Oh, and I plan on making it a removable body.

Welcome to the forums. Looks like a decent plan.

One thing you might want to check before you get too far planning the details is whether you have enough clearance to change out a tire. The low hanging skirts and tight looking wheel well might not provide enough pull space or articulation. Perhaps you can do a cardboard mock-up of that area, or get some input from others with similar style builds on the same trailer. Better to know before you get too far.

I have given thought to the wheel well clearance. It is something that may have to be considered once I am closer to that part of the build. There is a lot of room in the wheel well.

I have a thought about having a jack to lift the trailer high enough to access the wheel.

I have a question about overhead cabinet clearance. My seat/bed doesn't have a whole lot of clearance to the roof. Is there any type of storage solution that will fit in that area?



Right now I have budgeted 6" for the cushion/mattress.
