Reminds me of my childhood.
My dad bought one, and he spent years dreaming and working himself up to the purchase.
He'd take me long to the Airstream dealers on Saturday mornings while he kicked tires and talked with salesmen.
Back then they had 8mm film loops on little 10 inch rear projector sets playing these things all day.
I would sit in the waiting room watching these and drinking a Pepsi while dad shopped.
One sticks in my memory, a film loop for Reese weight distribution hitches. Back then the only front wheel drive cars were Oldsmobile Toronados and Cadillac El Dorados.
The film showed an Airstream hitched to a Toronado. They removed the rear tires and went bouncing over those same desert landscapes like the film above but the tow vehicle had no rear tires.
