Any reason to use one over the other? I was set to order 10 ounce, because it seems like it would be tougher, but decided to ask first. Anyone have experience with both?

I used 8 oz for my woodie td. It was just Menards paint drop cloth but i lucked out with no seams. Easy to work with. For my son's foamie we used 10 oz from Big Duck. Very good quality and price wasn't bad. Also easy to work with the heavier cloth.

Some intricate surfaces that were wrapped on the foamie. Especially around the roof vent scoop on his td. Some pics in page six of the third build in my signature.

Thanks, Tim. I'm using a 5x8 NT aluminum too, so I was pretty happy to see the build post for your son's teardrop.

Our first Foamie used a very light Linen canvas ( very strong) … On the FoamStream we used Big Duck’s 18 oz. canvas and that has survived for 8 or so years now , with no problem …. In areas that it’s overlapped , that’s the equivalent of 36 oz. canvas , which is extremely strong …
I don’t know what it is about my friends , but all give it a “fist bump” and then comment how STRONG it feels , as if they were expecting a marshmallow …
