This type of build makes a lot of sense for people with limited space and funds. Maybe you don't have the space for a camper and another trailer for hauling misc items or just don't have the funds for another trailer to build a camper on.
If you build a removeable unit, you can use your van, truck or trailer for everything else in between camping weekends. I've been wanting to do this style for a while and really considering doing this for my Aerostar build.
