Barn style (gambrel) roof on a straight sided foamie?

Hi folks,
I’m new to the group but very inspired by what I’ve seen here to start a build this summer. I already have a solid older 4x8 utility trailer that is completely flat, with the top of the fenders even with the flat bed of the trailer.

I envision a build tall enough to stand in, similar to a vargo wagon type build or simple yard shed, with a rear door, a raised deck with 12 to 18” overhang on each side, but with a gambrel (barn style) roof instead of the curved roof of the vargo style for better head height.

I’m 6’2” and spent two and a half months in 2019 camping from Maine to southern California and back in a Chevy Astro cargo van, and the biggest difficulty I had was the low head room. I want to avoid that with a foamie build. My current car has a 1500lb towing capacity.

Has anyone ever built one with a gambrel style roof? Any problems or hints or possible design difficulties?

Thanks!
Brian

Very cool, thanks. That’s a bit beyond my current meager skill level, unfortunately.
