I have a couple of vintage VWs I'd like to put trackers in. But, the tracking service charges. I'd be mostly okay with that but I haven't found one that will let me use my laptop to check things. Everything these days expects me to have a smart phone. Just can't do it.

All though I too have thought of a tracker. One thing I plan to do is Prink my License Plate number on top of the trailer. Few thieves will look there. So even it they remove the plate the plate number will still be there.
The advantage of a tracker is you will be able to follow it and when you find it you can call the Law and till them where it is.
