Did you put a center brake light on your trailer??
if so is it just one or a left and a right so they can see you are turning too??

Ron,
Ours is a brake strip with 3 small lights and is placed center back trailer frame area. David wired it so the most left light blinks for left turns & most right blinks for right turn. I forget if all three come on when braking or only the center one. The main reason we did it is that our teardrop lights are replicas of old Ford lights and don't show up as well as more modern ones do.
I don't have a third brakelight. I just have a pair of 4" round lights. They use to be a regular bulb type but last summer I swaped them out for a pair of LEDs. I do feel better with the brighter lights. I was thinking of adding a second pair and have them off except for brake and turns (no running light). Then I would have 4 lights come on.
I am planning to put a third brake light on my new build. That is what people are used to seeing on cars, so I figure it would be a good idea. I'll probably use an LED strip to keep it small.
This is what i put on mine last week.
With running lights on.
With brake lights on,they also have turn signal mode.
It wasn't quite dark yet they are very bright at night.
Some days all you can do is smile and wait for some kind soul to come along and pull your ass out the bind you've gotten yourself into.
I don't have a third brake light (though I really like the thought of one!) but I do have 5 double bulb clearance lights on the back.
