Need help sourcing 5'x5'x1/8" Baltic Birch (Tampa, FL)

Postby nierfherder » Wed Feb 21, 2018 8:34 am

Hello all. I'm trying to source 1/8" baltic birch for my internal and external roof, but I've been unsuccessful in finding a source. I've called local lumber yards to no avail. Anyone have any sources near Tampa, Florida?

Looks a bit expensive at Craftsmen Supply:

The last time I bought BB it was about $10 a sheet cheaper.

Thank you for that Tony! I didn't know about that place. Didn't even come up on any of my searches. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but at least I can get it! I work in downtown Tamp, live in New Port Richey, so their location is perfect.

A Google turned up these..... Try to call them and explain your unique need.
You may well interest them enough to provide you the ply you are looking for.
Other wholesalers are possibilities as well.

Up here the local wholesale ply vendor will sell products to walk-ins, especially
woodworking club members.

Try Home Depot. I believe they would have to order it. I got mine there years ago.

You could try quality plywood in Clearwater. This is where I get all my lumber. I'm pretty sure they will sell to walk-ins.
