What is a good tool to cut 040 aluminum sheeting?

I see this aluminum cutting blade at home depot, looks like an overkill for such a thin sheet https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIABLO-7-1- ... /305554862
I was also recommended the diamond cutting blade https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-5-in ... /312203593

I am hoping there are some light weight options.

I see you’re shopping for a Skill Saw blade.
I cut aluminum on a 10” table saw with a minimum of 60 carbide tipped saw blade.
If you want the safest and best cut go with a blade specifically for cutting aluminum.

A trim router with a bearing guided carbide trim bit is your lightest option. Clamp a straight edge to the material and run the router down the straight edge. Aluminum can ball up on the bit and there are ways to reduce this— lubricating the bit and slowing the speed (variable speed router or router speed control) are two I use. Keep the bit clean and you will get a nice cut.

For sheathing a teardrop cabin, I use a fine-toothed jigsaw blade and cut it about an 1/8" proud. Once the metal is in place, I use a flush-cut bit on a router to finish the cut.

That Deoblo blade is a good one, ear plugs and sleeves are best used for this one.

For the radius I use pneumatic metal cutting shears leaving a small amount proud and finish up with a double flute flush router bit.
A bit with 2 flutes is important, less heat and a nicer cut.

I'd break it down with the skill saw and I tooth count carbide blade, then move onto the router for finales cuts like mountainminded suggested. This will give you much better control over your cuts and give you a cleaner cut as well.

I used one of these. Cut close to what i wanted then used router to clean it up. Router will bogg down and not last tp last if you just try cutting thru everything.
