PMF + Raptor Liner

Postby camhum » Thu Mar 31, 2022 2:00 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide how to stiffen up my plywood before applying Raptor Liner on the outside. I looked into fibre glassing and it seems slightly pricey so I was wondering if anyone has done poor mans fibre glass and then applied raptor liner on top? Or looking for any suggestions on the best way to prep for Raptor Liner so it wont crack because of the wood flexing.

Not canvas too flexy.

Substrate really does need to be rigid.

Better IMO to find a coating that is more flexible.

Monsterliner sticks very well to Clear gloss Polyurethane, thats sanded and wiped down with MEK.
I will be layering inside & outside foam with 1/8" ply prior, to the 3 clear gloss poly coat's sanded and wiped down before each layer.
Maybe next month.
Approved on my first one. ;)
