Well for those of you that didnt get to make it to Florida this weekend like me,, here is an update on the gathering,,, From what I could tell on a phone call to Woody, Ellen and the gang there, our sympathy's should be with all those folks,, tomorrow is going to be a long and ugly day,,, It seems there is a virus going thru the whole campsite,,, they are fighting it with medicine being mixed and despensed by Ellen :picklejuice: :icedtea: :tipsy: ,,, she is such a good nurse,,, one of the effects of this virus is really bad headaches and a somewhat delicate tummy in the morning,,, I aint sure if its the virus or the cure but from the sounds of things over the phone,, its not a pretty sight at the campground,,,

so join me in wishing all of these Happy Campers well,,,

THEY GONNA NEED IT,,,,,,,,,,

drive safe home tomorrow my friends

Chip, I don't suppose that pickles would be part of the cure would they?

From what I remember about Ellen's medicine, the cure is worse then the disease. :?

The cure isn't worse but it may be close, Ellen did her best but she may need more practice next trip.
Had a blast as always and really hated to head home.
Picked up a truck in Jax and made it home safe and sound around 2am with a long rest stop in the tear.
 here's to great times with old and new friends and not near enough time off.

I would like to Thank all those who attended. Good friends old and new. We had a great time. Some of it was a bit blurry, however, I do recall some of the happenings   Again I would to say Thank you to all those attended. Th Dutch Oven cook-off for Saturday night dinner was outstanding. We will have more of this in the future, the food was awesome. That was a good idea you had Ross DO Pot Luck. Who was this Ellen person that you speak of Chip????    (It was good talking to you my friend.) St. Augustine is a quite the place to see. The winery tour was interesting, Since I have now drank my way through the other half of the city  . Anastasia Park is awesome and look foward to many more gatherings there. Other than the Canadian campground host next to us. Sorry we interupted your TV viewing pleasure, NOT! The weather was nicee and cool the nights were cool. I didn't have to worry about freezing in my new teardrop. Since the wife ( The Ellen they speak of) figured out how to run the heater in there. Geez it was hot (119 degrees) inside

I had a great time camping, thanks for the loan of the heater. I am off to Wal Mart tomorrow to buy one for myself and see about new tires, for the trailer, so I can go out of state with my "Tiny Trailer".

Who knew that two sites away was the host anyway?? What a jerkoff he was the next morning when he drove by. He stated that we interupted his TV watching and he made that point very clear twice. Heck if he wouldn't have had his TV so loud bothering us, maybe we could have been quietier      The funny thing was it was within 1 hour of quiet time which was 11:00 pm and all this started around 9:45 - 10:05 PM. Oh well get over it or go home.

That's because everyone is still recovering from that bug that went around. I know Paul and I are still dealing with it.
