Well, we start to pack the tear tonight. Carla will be on her way to Columbia on Wednesday (on business) and I will be heading just south of the border Thursday night

Is there a total count on how many trailers and people yet? Just needing to know for the Saturday night feeding.

Is it time to go yet?

:o I saw on the Unicoi site that private boats are not allowed. Has anyone been there before. I don't want to carry the Kayak if I can't use it.

Hi folks
I am going to be in the area this weekend and would like to stop by and visit Saturday. I would like to check out your tears and take a few pictures
before I start my build. Also maybe tap in on some the vast knowledge there is in this group.

David, Looks like at least 9 tears will be there. Come on up and spend the day or spend the night. I have a two man tent if you have something to sleep on. Let me know if you want me to bring it.

Alan,
The lake at Unicoi is small, they have paddleboats for rent. There is the river that go's thru Helen and also a big lake up toward NC line. I really do not know if they do or do not allow private boats at the park. Would try calling the park before hauling the boat up.

ONE MORE DAY :D
Let's go camping!

Hey guys!
We just wanted to say "thank you" for allowing us into the family with such open arms (and "custumary traditions")! :MLAS Rachel and I couldn't stop talking about how much fun we had all the way home. Little did we know that with all of this hard work on a tiny trailer, we would be gaining some great friendships as well. In honor of the Saturday evening antics, we decided to change our nickname... thus "SinWagon" is born.
We look forward to seeing all of you in Pisgah (IF we can get a site or place to stay with our trailer). If not, we will see you again in Myrtle Beach (if we can get the time off of work)!
Thanks again guys! Counting down the days till "next time!"

Jim and Rachel,, I am sure all of the folks this weekend really enjoyed meeting you two and adding two more teardroppers to our fiesty little group. There has been a lot of discussion around the pickle jar and campfire about how much fun it was to build a camper and then to find out the fun really is just starting. The friendships you can make, the good fellowship, the good food and of course the new experiences all combine to make a very enjoyable time that you will look more and more forward to,, we are very glad you two had a good time and will be coming back,,,,,
Welcome to the group,,,chipper
