Fun was had by all as always. We have a great bunch of people and we keep growing....just like one BIG HAPPY FAMILY. :applause:

Here is a few pictures we took before the real fun began  :wine: http://photos.yahoo.com/tearjerkers2004 and look for the Helen,GA album.

All of the newcomers were initiated into family with the PJ & C ceremony  Guess we will see who all returns to the next gathering

For those of you who could not make it, You missed another great time. Most importantly, those of you who would like to experince the fun and fellowship of this group.....get your resevations in for the next gatherings. You won't regret it.

750 miles round trip, four days, nine tears and great fun. Helen was neat, and the park could have had fewer hills and let me put my kayak on their water. Regular wonderful gang and nice to meet the new folks. Frank didn't tell me about the gravel road on the shortcut on the way out though. Lynn; My soldier is getting an Article 15 for deserting his post and Wanda says you owe child support. See you all in October.

Jiminsav and David Niver; Talk to each other about sharing that double site as there are almost no sites left at Davidson River for the Fall Crawl in October.

Alan, I was wrong..the 2 double sites are first come, first serve..sooooooooooooooooooo..it looks like i'll be there thursday in order to get a site..I called the park, they have 100 sites that can't be booked online, and i'm wagering that appletree loop might have some walk up ones left..it'll be intresting to see what happens.

The trip to Helen was great. Got a lot of good ideas, and met some uhhh "special" folks. I hope to show up with real hardware next time not just drawings.

Had a great time in Helen, hope the newbies had a great time as well, you all were really great sports, and are very talented as well.

Just talked to our Camp Host, Linda & Marvin,( they really enjoyed our group) they are OK, the campground and lodge is closed, the storm did a lot of tree damage to the lodge building and the roads. They just got power back about an hour ago and still are without water. All the campers, and people staying in the lodge and cabins were asked to leave untill the damages can be repaired.

Alan, sorry about the dirt road, thought I had told you that was why Linda would not bring you guy's in that way. I only went 15 mph to keep the dust down.
Let's go camping!
