:( Do to many reasons including health and finances to say the least; it doesn;t look like we will be doing any camping for some time. Hope to make the crawl in the fall. To all our close friends WE MISS YOU. No reply required to this post.

Anybody who's been to the campground before . . . I understand there is no electricity anywhere in the campground. Is that still the case? And having asked that, is there hot water for showers? :snowstorm:

Some of you may remember me from a couple of past outtings (Unicoi in 2005 and Davidson River of the same year).

I am making a comeback, and my wife Amanda and I will be making our way up there for the "Fall Crawl." Since all of the sites are filled, we will probably cast our luck and shoot for a FCFS site.

Hope to see you all soon!

If anyone needs to (unfortunately or fortunately) back out of the fall festivities, please let us know (after Alan of course). Looks like the campground is fully booked. :(

Thanks!

I just called the campground. More than half of the sites are first come first serve. Dogwood is close to Apple Tree Loop and has first come first serve sites. That is what we are going to do. Our TD should be ready long before that.
