There should be a lot of chili to sample. Last Nov. at Anastasia, Woody did a Turkey, maybe this time you all could talk him into doing a

That would go really good with chili..

Well, spot #32 is now open! My boss and his wife have decided to go to Aspen for the same 4 days that I wanted to go camping. He asked that I not be away from the office when he is away and since he owns the company and I manage his construction office, I guess I had better play nice and obey. So, I just cancelled my spot if anyone is looking for a 20' deep. It's away from the gang (1-16) but it's a nice size.

Have fun everyone and thanks Unl. Ron for watching my back.

Rocky, If your leaving Atlanta at noon, you better fly like the wind tonka, or you'll miss dinner and desert, and maybe even some cocktails.

Becca - You and your DO will be missed

Rocky - Woody usually starts the pot-luck around 5:30 or 6:00. We'll be glad to see you whenever you get there.

The Inkwell is packed and ready to go to the gathering. We'll be arriving on Friday. We'll be stopping in Yulee at some friends house for the night before the gathering.

We also loaded some seasoned wood.

Here's the weather forecast for the weekend, in case anyone is interested in it.

Fri
Feb 8 Mostly Sunny 69°/50°
Sat
Feb 9 Mostly Sunny 73°/45°
Sun
Feb 10 Sunny 62°/37°

Looks like warm campfires will be nice in the evenings. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Lynn

We're getting a late start getting out to Little Talbot but should be there about dusk. The postman just brought me some Red Chili Powder from Rancho De Chimayo, New Mexico. Just in time for tomorrow nights hope to be "Famous Chili Cook-Off". Only hope the chili tasters have "refined" palates worthy of such a fete  It's gonna be warm enough for the mosquitoes and no see-ums saturday. I'm gonna pack a box fan. For you lurkers in the vicinity, come on out and visit.
