What's the weather like usually for this event. High/low temps, etc. It should be pretty cool here in PA by then and we might be interested in trying to attend this event.

Kerry, come on down,,, the weather last year was cool,, upper 50s in the day and lower 40s at night, campfire felt good but was not to uncomfortable,, course this year who knows,, at Myrtle Beach if it gets to freezing its unusual so the odds are for cool weather ,, now if the rain gods will be kind then it should be a good weekend

Thanks, chip. That's about what I was thinking that it would be and I sure know what you mean about the 'Rain Gods'. Have to discuss it with the wife (she hates the cold) and see if she wants to give it a try. I'm not sure that I have what it takes to properly decorate for THIS event, though. Have to give that alot of thought too.

Cheers

Compared to what you will have at that time of year it will be nice. No reservations required at this time of year. We had almost the whole park to ourselves last year. Come on down. I'm 5 easy to find miles off I-95 about 2 hours from park if you want to spend the night or take a break on the way there.

Alan,

Thanks for the invite. I most likely will not know if we are coming until the week prior or so. I sure hope we can come down and me all you guys in person. The internet is great and the board is wonderful, but you can't beat good ol face to face.

So who's going to be at the beach?

Postby clydedavis » Tue Oct 11, 2005 9:08 pm

I plan on making reservations for site 111. I will be there with my Kit Kamper teardrop trailer on Thursday, December 1st. I would like to know who all is camping too.

I might make the Pisgah Gathering this year.

Clyde

So far it looks like 1. AL and Wanda 2. Chip and Debbie, 4. Ross and Carla, 5. Pete and Lynne, 6. Dennis and ? 7, Ron and ? 8. Kerry and ? 9. Clyde and Pam 10. Frank and Linda. We will do Friday thru Sunday. I will see about press coverage again. I know it would be a bit of a pan but how would you guys feel about hooking up the tears Saturday and doing a caravan up and down the strip.

Good News/Bad News

Good News: Put an offer in on a house we wanted and it was excepted!! :applause:

Bad News: Closing is on the 28th of November and we will not be able to make the Christmas gathering

Other news: Hoping to get a second teardrop done over the winter and really want to try to make the Christmas at the beach gathering next year. :eyebrows:
