I don't know that we'll be going slow enough to fish, but you are welcome to come along. The more the merrier! :D Of course, there will be stops for lunch and whatever catches our fancy . . . . . .

Not being familiar with the area, are sea kayaks usable in the river...? or is it a little windy river.?

seakayaks

Postby Mark & Andrea Jones » Tue Jan 17, 2006 1:29 pm

The river is large and wide with some very easy (and low) ledges / cobble bars. And if the river comes up a little bit, we may not even have that. Sharp manuevering is not required. Yes, if that is what you have, bring it/them along and join us. Seakayaks would be fine - but you'll probably outpaddle me going downriver! :D

Damn...

It's 4 miles closer to MONTREAL than it is to MIAMI!

Youre right about it being centrally located!!!!

And Tom--they told you not to do it online. Maybe cheaper by calling up and mentioning the group???
Here we go again!

The story of my life. I jump right in and don't bother to RTFM.

Len, should I call the park and let them know that I'm with the tearjerkers?

Tom
Yes you should call the campground. BTW did you get a confirmation email from me? My mail had some kind of problem and sent a few emails back. I know Pete's was in with them and I sent yours at the same time. Don't want to miss anybody.

Chip
As of today, Sunday the 12 of March we have, at least on my end 41 registered. I don't know what the Campground has registered yet but we'll know soon. The South is a little ahead at this point (2) but we have a long way to go.
