Jim, Do you know how far that is from I20/I95 interchange ? It would help to have an accurate distance to do this. For me its exactly 100 miles from home.

That leaves about 125 - 150 miles to go to Park if I figured correctly. Meet there about noon or 1:00. What do you think Chip, Frank and everybody ? Might have a cell phone by then Chip, and I could hook up with you guys at I20/I95. Got copy of article today from nice paper lady. Looks great. Woody; check on line and se if you can lay on some press coverage. I e mailed all the local tvs and papers and it worked.

Alan,

We will be hitting 95 at 321which is at Hardeeville just before you get to Savannah.
It is cross country but by far the best way for us. We could meet you there.

Alan,
It will take 2 1/2 hours to get to Hardeeville. We just need to leave in time to meet you there. The beach is about 2 more hours from there.

Alan, there is a rest area at Hardyville SC, but it's only for northbound traffic..there is a rest stop at the welcome center just inside Ga a couple miles from hardyville, and then the next rest stop is 60 miles down I-95 just before Brunswick..hopefully, the bridge builders will be done by then and the traffic isn't so slow from richmond hill to south newport..

It will take us 6 1/2 to 7 hours to get to Hardeeville. we could meet you all around 12:00 or 1:00 on that friday. It's a great idea about getting a cell phone list together for everyone. Are we doing Valentine decorations  or maybe pre Mardi Gras decorations   ?

Guess we will have to wait and see.

How bout the Welcome center just inside the Ga line,,bout 12:30 to 1:00. that would be a good place to take a pit stop, fix a sandwich if ya early, maybe even take a nap for us old folks,
that wold make a easy to find location and everybody could judge their time to arrive and take a break,
Southbound, Florida or bust 8)
yall think bout it,,

chip

p/s I'll bring plenty of beads to throw,,lmao
