Still planning on being at Guntersville-but go check the SoCentral page. They have got a gathering at Lake Bistineau thats starting to look like a real throw-down. I mention it because Jolly Roger is planning on shooting part of a documentary there, this could be something to see. Sign up to have him shoot your TD-you might make the travel channel.

Madjack... I ran it on Mapquest last night, 610 miles....
A bit far for a weekend jaunt.... but, sure wish we could!
Guntersville is about 2 1/2 hours for us, straight down Hwy 431.

No change Sid, just going to do both. I'll still be at Guntersville. It's knda strange I spent so much time lurking on the build pages now I've moved over to the go and do pages-I need to learn how to pace myself.
:)

Mc,

You could always build another one. Build it slower... take your time... not like me cranking out something in a month...

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Mike

Unfortunatley my "build" time and efforts are now going into replacing the throw out bearing in my car-not from pulling the TD, its an 11 year old car and these things happen. I don't mind to much as I'm just starting to pull the TD and a new clutch is a good idea anyway. A racing radiator is next on the list.

I gotta say this clutch job is best left to the professionals its really tight under there-took a day and a half just to get the trans out. I missed the part in step one where it said to disassemble the entire car.

Come on down Mike someone will take care of you. I will have plenty of room in my cooler for your stuff. I'm not much of a cook so we"ll both be needing to go out and eat.
Early next week if everone that knows that they are going to be able to be there will post up there ETA I will try to go ahead and rent a couple of extra spots. I will be going early Friday morning after work. About 8:00 Am. Please be sure that you can make it.
SEE YA THERE! Keith

I am still planning on coming even though I will not be bringing my camper but a tent. (Cost of gas still hurts)

Wish I could go to La but same limitations.

sorry to hear

Postby stbuch » Thu Sep 14, 2006 10:15 pm

Sorry to hear that, Mike, I'm sure it's been rough.
We're broke too (what else is new) but I wouldn't miss a gathering so close. See you there.

Sorry to hear that, we went thru the same thing last year with my mother-in-law. I know how though it is both financially, emotionally, and all the time you need.
