Man did this thread die or what? Hopefully the weather will be good (no rain) :) I am still thinking about bringing the deep fryer for a turkey for saturday night and plan the meal around it. I am still getting inquires from people that want to stop by and are interested in looking at the teardrops for building and design ideas. Sounds like we might have at least 9 teardrops so far plus some people in tents as well. It amazed me the response so far on the people who want to see them, well we will see what interest this brings. I am notifying the area media of our presence as Alan asked. Maybe we will get some response from them as well. Maybe we should get some build pictures of the teardrops ready to show the people and the media, what do you think?. Any how, I talked to my cousins that live there and they said that Little Talbot was there favorite beach and the park was great. So it looks like a good choice to have some fun and a annual gathering there. Good call Chip. :applause:

I guess nobody had anything to say lately. Santa said I can go ahead and make my reservations now and also for Davidson River in the fall. I love Santa. I should be bringing both of my Tears. :)

Hey Alan: the wood delivery worked out gret in Myrtle Beach so I vote to at least attempt to get firewood delivered. sure was nice to have a good supply and not be concerned about how much was being burned or have to make frequent trips to buy overpriced bags of firewood.

I sure hope some more of the people in the Florida,Georgia,Carolinas get interested and come down for the weekend,,I know its a pull but it sure will be fun anyway,,

OK all you people who are dragging ya feet,, make the reservation and come on,,,,See ya at the beach

Chip,

We have reservations, and are going to be there! We agree about the wood, it worked real nice at the beach.

See you in Feb.

Nearest town on the map is Franklintown. I'll call down to the Park Manager and see if he can get me a number for a load of firewood. Tried to find something on line but couldn't. Let ya know what I find out.
