I hope y'all don't mind a Louisiana tear (and her Florida friend) crashing your party, 'cause I just booked site #8...arriving on the 12th!! :D

I'll be driving my little Honda Fit over, so please keep your fingers crossed that the Mental Floss weighs in under 1000lbs...otherwise, I'll be tent camping. Last March we saw 12+ manatees in the run between the River and the Spring...and lots of other wildlife too!

Can't wait to see everyone!!

How awesome Kristi! It will be good to have another Louisiana gal around the campfire. Fran, my best friend, will be camping with me. She and I grew up together in Louisiana. I am looking forward to meeting you and getting a look at the Mental Floss.

Hector and his wife and son are planning to join your soire in February. He is trying to finish his Teardrop before then. I hope there's a good turnout.

 I'm your "booked-keeper".

Thank you, I needed some kind of keeper. BTW (not bacon, tomato on wheat) Someone gave us a sticky :o Thanks :D

Forgot to tell you that Aunti Miriam did that for us. She's a sweetheart. :)

If our campsite is big enough, Fran and I would like to host the Pot Luck. We have an idea about doing a Murder Mystery Dinner Party. Has anyone ever been to one? I participated in one my neighbor hosted and had a great time...lotta fun. Let me look for a game and when we get closer to the camping date, I'll send out everyone's invitation to their home or work. I think the invitation is like a small book that tells you who your character is, what lines to say and it may tell you if you are the murderer. It also may give suggestions on what to where. Yes. this is a "dress the part" type of dinner party and that makes it more fun. Email me with questions if needed. You will be fed good food too...I promise!

OOOOOOh...forgot to mention, Aunti M "said" she should try and come caming that weekend with us since her Birthday falls on the 13th and mine on the 14th we could have a nice bottle of wine or 4 to celebrate. So I need {please} every one of you to bombard her with emails begging her and Mike to come. One site still left is #13. It's worth a try anyway.

I asked Auntie M and Uncle Mike to join us. Didn't mention anything about Friday the 13th, or Site #13, or Murder..... Image
