Becca,
The dates in the heading and the dates in your first post? I think I'll be camping Thurs night all by myself. :o Tell me it aint so. :R :ilovecamp:

BTW I saw your post in the general discussion section.
Don't stress it to much. We're all going to have a good time I'm sure. If I could help somehow let me know.

That was my mistake - I corrected it back to the 3rd. We'll be there Thursday night along with a few others too so you won't be alone.

I think it will be a really good gathering, probably a bit chilly but all the better! ;)

"Hi there,
I have made my reservation to join you in february! unfortunately, I waited too long and will be away from you all in the campground, but oh well. I will be on site # 7 with Gracie and Trixie."

We've got another camper joining us! :applause:

Hi all,

Well it appears we've waited too long to get into the "right" loop. I'm going to hold off on our reservations for a couple weeks and see if something opens up. However, there are only 4 sites left in the park for those dates.

Just hold tight for awhile. People always cancel at the last minute so I'll keep watching out too. Really would love to see y'all again.

All the campsites in this park have been booked - there are no sites available at this time.

Please keep checking Reserve America because cancellations happen all the time.

Ok, time to start thinking about what we want to do for the pot luck. I'm open for any suggestions!

The things I "think" we will want are:

Meat
Veggies or Salad
Pasta salad (I'll be happy to make a big one)
Bread
Side dishes
Desserts

Now if anyone has food allergies or doesn't eat meat, please speak up so you can be accommodated.

I don't know if any of you like fried catfish but if I can get some pretty fresh, I don't mind frying up a whole load of them.

Like I said, I'm open to all suggestions so start your think engines!

Sites are still all booked but I'm still looking. You'd think with how cold it's been someone would cancel. We camped last weekend and we were one of three in a 30 plus site loop.

pot luck

Postby evane » Mon Jan 17, 2011 6:51 pm

How about some cocktail meatballs. My sisiter gave me a great recipe this past new years eve. Simple, easy and they were a hit.
