Looks like i can get off work Thursday and will be able to make the trip.
We should be there Thursday afternoon to get a first come spot. I know this will be as much fun as we had at the North Al.Camp Inn. Sid are you bringing a gituar? Just in case your not im going to bring mine for you to play some more John Prine. By the way my wife want's to talk to you about that. Seems that when I got home I had to find all my albums and cds of his and have been playing them every since.

ALAN GEDDES wrote::thinking: Suggestion: Seeing as how we don't have utilities and water at each site why don;t we just do a pizza run Saturday night. If I remember correctly there is Pizza and a Sub shop at the shopping center/grocery store right outside the park. Everybody bring their own drinks and we would be good to go.

Alan, do they deliever, or does someone have to stay sober to drive out there?

There isn't any set theme for the Saturday night potluck dinner, however, it will be in the Dutch Oven style. It would be great to see as many different dishes prepared in Dutch Ovens......soups, breads, stews, vegetables, cobblers, cakes.........and the list goes on. Just remember, whatever you can prepare in your kitchen, can be prepared in your Dutch Oven.

Just a little over 3 weeks to go.

Hey Woody, Last time I checked, Davidson River doesn't have any speed bumps.....thank goodness   :? :R

Well we are about 2 weeks away from another great time. It is hard to believe, it was just 3 years ago that we all came together and became part of the teardrop family. Thanks again Clancey :applause: :applause:

Carla and I haven't figured out what we will be fixin in our dutch ovens yet. But it should be good.

The leaves are changing colors now and they are beautiful. This should be the best year for the fall colors.

Ya know, we don't all do dutch ovens......

Is there anything in particular we may need to bring for Saturday night? We need a little advanced notice, as we will be at Elkmont in the Smokies for a few days (Tues-Fri) before we get to Davidson River. We're hoping the leaves will be at their peak.

Really looking forward to meeting everyone!
