We will be meeting and making new friends this weekend so we hope you put your health before camping. If your not up to it "don't come". If you do, many eyes will be watching you.
Get well :)

On Thursday, I will be glad to reserve 10 sites, 5 on each side of the road hopefully close to a bath house. I will call Pammy Thursday evening to let her know the site numbers and she will post it to this site. I will reserve the ones that have power.
We are thinking about you, Alan, get well soon.

Alan, I was going to harass Chip with this note but time will be better spent wishing You well. apparently God is not ready for You yet ( maybe he knows we need your chili this weekend ) & quit thinking about Chip in black body stockings, thats probably what gave you heartburn. God bless You & get well............. Pete

Alan,
Here's wishing you well, don't worry about the chilly or setting up your site, and most of all don't think about Chip in those black stockings.
:?
We would love to see you, but as already said only if you're up to it. However if you do come you will be taken care of.
Best Wishes,

Frank & Linda

Are we going to have a convoy down Friday morning? We were planning to head out between 8-10 if anyone wants to join up. If we have company Linda will not make me stop at all the yard sales.

Hope all is well, Alan. As Frank and others have mentioned, if you feel up to it and decide to make the trek, you will be surrounded by many friends who will take care of everything for you.

Carla and I will be living around 8:00 Friday morning for the 6 1/2 hour drive. We will be traveling 421 east to I-77 south to Charlotte, then head through Monroe on 74 east. Then 151 to 52 to 76, then 576 to 501 to 17. :? Good thing Carla's the navigator, 'cause I couldn't find my way out of a wet paper bag.

See ya around 3:00 Friday.

Ross

Packin' day is here. Going out in a bit to wash the black streaks off, check tire pressure, and start loading. When Darla gets home I'll connect the lights and make sure they work and then take a long nap. Leaving around 2-2:30 AM for the 10 hour trek south. Looking to arrive around 1:00 PM or so with traffic.

Trailer is packed and ready to go,,,got to get some food in the cooler and we will be ready to head out,,the best laid plan is to leave Friday am about 10 to 1030,, which will put us into myrtle beach about 3 to 4 in the afternoon,,save us a spot,,,,,
Pete is gonna be right in front of us so ya cant say ya havent been warned,,,If I can request a site for Pete that is osha approved for safety it would be appreciated,,,he might still be accident prone and we wouldnt want him to get hurt
has anyone gotten an update on Alan's condition and if he and Wanda are gonna make it?? I have not been able to get in touch with them.
see yall on Friday afternoon

:) THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR GOOD THOUGHTS> Just got home and feel like crap. Hospitals are no place to get better. They have too many sick people there. Not sure if I'll be able to make it on Friday. Will come on Saturday even if just a day trip for a few hours. Here are the people I contacted about firewood: 843-293-8941/843-636-7065. Thanks again and see ya soon. Alan

Glad to hear you are home, Alan. Hope to see you there, but if not , we totally understand.

Do we need to call the guy about the firewood or is it going to be delivered at a certain time? What was the price on the 1/2 cord?

Thanks, Ross
