Civil War Re-enactment at campground

Postby stbuch » Sat Aug 12, 2006 7:40 am

When we were in Valley Head recently we ran into a troop of Civil War Re-enactors who were scouting for a big battle they will be staging at this campground the weekend of Nov.22. It will be the battle of Missionary Ridge. Those who are interested in watching such an event might want to make plans to be there.
The campground is the Sequoyah Caverns campground and you can also take the caverns tour if you like caverns (which we do!).

This is the link to the campground if you want to check it out. The campground is a little old but we really like it because it is a quiet and beautiful area.

Good grief, isnt it the weekend yet?
Maybe if I sleep in the camper the week
will pass faster
