Was there a problem last time?

Also......for those of us that havent been there before.
There are some tent sites in this loop. They seem to
have water and electric at each site.

Are they suitable for teardrops?

Walter

The problem was they were, although nice people, they went to bed at 730 pm. And they were next to the site where the potluck dinner and festivities were at. They were not thrilled to say the least by being in the middle of a gathering, We did try to invite them for dinner earlier, they declined. It is just easier to reserve the spot and keep everyone happier. The site #1 is a small tent site along the backside of the loop and easliy blocked in. Heck we didn't even know it was there for two years worth of the gathering until last year. Rusty and family (who will be at Anastasia) are using the site #1 this year

Jewel, you never know about Florida weather. Last winter was really warm most of the time. But, I've seen temps as low as 9 degrees in the past, in the center of the state.

Woody, is there a certain area at LT where most of the TDs will be? I'll have to see how my wife handles the Anastasia outing before I commit to another one. I do want to make it to the Keys in March.

I just talked to the Park Rangers at Talbot. They have informed me that the loop we always camp in is going to be shut down in Feb for maintenance. Since the park only has 40 sites and 1-13 can not be used it cuts down the available site there. I would book your sites now to ensure a camping site in Feb for the gathering. I have talked to them about doubling up and they will get back to me on this subject due to the maintenance issue at hand.

So book your sites now
